Art Director, Motion Graphics Wizard

Celtra’s Product Marketing team is seeking a killer Art Director and Motion Graphics Wizard to concept, animate and execute original content ranging from short-form motion graphic content, infographics, to long-form pieces. You should be a passionate and creatively-driven artist looking to expand existing talents into new horizons. You should have a diverse set of skills and experience in digital advertising, marketing campaigns, and feel comfortable jumping in on projects that you may not have explored before. This position works alongside a talented team of directors, product marketing managers, motion graphics producers and graphic designers.

The Art Director is a leadership role that will have a high impact on the future success of Celtra’s business. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will be tasked with being the visionary for Celtra’s digital and video content across multiple platforms. You will be a go‐to person for inspiration, leadership and creative genius for the entire Product Marketing team.


  • Articulate and create complex ideas and bring them to life in motion.
  • Confidently pitch ideas to both Product Marketing and Product teams.
  • Mentor and educate other designers/producers.
  • Owning art direction guidelines across all product marketing materials and ensuring they’re being consistently followed by the entire team of designers
  • Partner with PMM’s and analysts globally to understand how content and information design can be improved. 
  • Constantly iterate and improve how content is designed across products, features, formats, etc.
  • Learn the Celtra product inside and out. Understand the core product vision and how each product rollout aligns with the overall Celtra value prop.
  • Bring ideas to life and be comfortable getting your hands dirty (this is not a management only role).


  • A portfolio of your work – applicants without a portfolio will not be considered
  • Design, film or communications/advertising school a plus; MA ideal; MBA *not* a plus
  • 3-5 years’ work experience as a creative motion designer.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing creative teams (not freelancers)
  • Advanced After Effects animation with plugin knowledge.
  • Graphic design, Cinema 4D, high-level animation quality, rendering and lighting (Physical Render) and Basic Modeling a plus.
  • Keen eye for detail. Nothing slips by you.
  • Highly entrepreneurial mindset. Proactive, not reactive.
